Women in the United States are now less inclined to marry than in the past. Sadly, about half of marriages go through a divorce. And, there are a significant number of widows who have outlived their spouse.

According to recent statistics, about 80% of American women – single, divorced, or widowed - may soon be responsible for making very important financial decisions.
